The Friends of Par Beach provides a website for its members and the general public.

We are a voluntary organisation supported by the various entities. This website contains three cookies for the purpose of proper operation of the website and is deleted at the end of the session (when you leave the website). That's it. Nothing else.

As a result, there is no cookie option to opt out. And there is no nagging 'Cookie Policy' pop-up message when you visit our home page.

If you requested our newsletter to be sent to you via email, you have consented your email address to be stored so that we may comply with your request. Should you wish to unsubscribe to this facility, each of our newsletters contain a link to unsubsribe and your details will be immediately deleted from the database and you will no longer receive the newsletter. Should you change your mind at a later date you will need to contact the committee to inform them of your wish and to explicitly give your permission to allow us to retain your email address for the purpose of complying with your request.

If you use the Contact Us page to send us a message then the information you type in is sent to us once you click on the Send button. If you do click on the Send button, in addition to the information you provided, we will receive the I.P. Address of the general location where you are, as provided by your device. This is only used to reduce our message system receiving 'spam' messages from hostile locations including outside the United Kingdom. If your device is set to block your location, we do not receive that information. If you do not click on the Send button, no personal information is retained by the website.
